For evidence of bank, a family uploads 3 months bank statements in the Bursary application's "Documents" step. Staff can use this article to identify the required evidence and its upload field.
Open the student's application form, select the gear icon, then select "Application Form" in the "Settings" drawer.
Select the "Scholarship & Bursary" phase, then select the "Documents" step to open its "Please supply originals of the following" form. The "3 months bank statements" field is the evidence of bank the family must upload.
The step asks for evidence of income:
- Last 3 payslips
- Last P60
- Latest audited accounts (if appropriate)
- Latest management accounts (if audited accounts are more than 9 months ago)
- Latest self-assessment tax calculation (if appropriate)
- Schedule D self-employment income declaration
- Benefit letters (if appropriate)
The step also asks for evidence of assets and ongoing payments:
- 3 months bank statements
- Proof of value of investments (may include internet valuation)
- Latest pension and endowment valuation
- Latest mortgage statement (on all properties if appropriate) / rent agreement
- Latest loan statements
- Contents insurance schedule
Two further fields cover anything else the means assessment needs:
- Legal financial agreements
- Any other appropriate documents to support your application
Each field takes one file up to 250MB. The family can replace or remove the file before they submit the step. The system does not check a file's content against its field's label, so the field label is the only specification of what counts as valid evidence.
