You can add an achieved grade on a student profile when a subject title is absent from the GCSE list. You can also record a BTEC First Extended Certificate with one grade row.
Open the student profile. Select "Application Form", then select "Education".
In "Grades", turn on "Unlock to make changes". The editable grade form replaces the read-only list.
Select "Add grade". A new grade row opens.
For a GCSE subject that is not in the title list, select "Other" in "Type". Enter the full title, such as Further Mathematics. Select the grade, "Achieved", and the received date.
For a BTEC First Extended Certificate, select "BTEC", the qualification title, "Extended Certificate", one grade, "Achieved", and the received date. Select "Save updates".
- The "Type" list shows only qualification types that your school accepts. If "Other" or "BTEC" is absent, enable that type before you add the grade.
- The "Save updates" button stays unavailable until you enter Type, Title, and Grade. The page shows "Type, Title, and Grade cannot be blank."
- An achieved grade also needs a received date.
- Enter one BTEC First Extended Certificate row. The system counts that row as two awards. Do not add two rows for the same certificate.
